Album Info:With my vegetable garden in full swing, I only got out to chase trains a few times. Catch of the Month is Union Pacific #5554 on a westbound CP freighter near the Welland Canal.

Description:  With my good camera in Toronto getting a clean and a checkup, I had to dust off the old Rebel xti - just for the day. It still works, but it's like everything is in slow motion. Tucked away at Duff Yard (I saw it from a distance as I crossed Central Avenue Bridge) was CN 8892.

Description:  Spent one minute too long buying peanuts at Picard's in Fort Erie, and just missed CP Train 255 coming across the International Bridge into Canada. But I managed to get ahead of the train here at Pettit Road grade crossing, then way further west near Welland at the Miller Road overpass. Special guest locomotive, far from its home range, is well-seasoned Union Pacific 5554 (GE AC4400CW-CTE).
